Mohan Babu handed over the production responsibilities to his daughter Lakshmi Prasanna and the young lady opted for senior most director, K. Raghavendra Rao to direct her first venture as a full time producer. Raghavendra Rao, known as the commercial guru of Telugu cinema of late has been concentrating more on devotional films and also seemed out of form in making regular commercial films. KRR didn’t care a penny for so-called advance technology and new age methods of film making. Guess what, he was right! He was bang on target in making this film which is completely targeted at the front bench crowds.
